Does Astro Scoopers clean the entire yard?
Astro Scoopers® provides thorough cleaning for all areas of your property affected by dog waste, including front, back, and side yards, flower beds, dog runs, and more.
Do you provide dog waste removal services all year round?
Yes! Astro Scoopers® provides dog waste removal services year-round at all our locations. Even during colder months, we maintain our regular schedule to ensure your outdoor spaces stay clean and tidy.
How do you ensure the safety of my dogs?
At Astro Scoopers®, the safety of our clients and their pets is our top priority. To protect your dogs, we thoroughly clean all equipment and shoes with a kennel-grade disinfectant between each yard, preventing the spread of germs. Additionally, we take photos of gates after cleaning to ensure they are secure, giving you peace of mind that your pets are safe. All our team members are also background-checked for your confidence and trust.
How much does it cost to hire a professional pooper scooper?
Astro Scoopers® has service plans starting as low as $80 per month. However, pricing is based on the size of the yard, service frequency, and number of dogs. Most of our clients end up paying between $90 and $110 per month.
Do I have to sign a contract for pooper scooper services?
No contracts! You can start, pause, and cancel your subscription at any time by updating your customer portal or calling our office.
How do you dispose of the pet waste after each cleanup?
Proper disposal of dog waste is essential for environmental safety, as it is considered a hazardous material. For our customers in the Inner Loop and Downtown Houston areas, we typically double-bag the waste and place it in your designated trash can or neatly by the side of your house.
While it isn't our primary service to remove waste from the property, we can accommodate this upon request for an additional fee of $10. Ensuring safe and effective waste disposal remains a top priority in every service we provide.
Can you clean with my dog in the yard?
Yes, we enjoy working in yards with dogs! However, if your dog has shown any signs of aggression, we kindly ask that you keep them indoors during our visit to ensure the safety of our team. If your dog behaves aggressively toward our staff, we may require them to remain indoors or, in some cases, remove your property from our route. Safety is our top priority.
Can I request a specific cleanup day?
Yes, you can request a specific cleanup day. Not every cleanup day will be available in your area, but we can generally offer a few options to best fit your schedule.
Do you provide arrival windows for services?
No, we don’t provide specific arrival times for our pooper scooper services. While we strive to accommodate your schedule, our routes are optimized the night before service to minimize drive times and keep costs affordable.
How do I adjust or cancel my service?
You can cancel your service at any time by logging into your membership account or creating a new account to manage and cancel your plan directly.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Not at all! Most of our customers prefer that we service their yard while they're not home. All we ask is that you provide access to the areas needing cleanup.
HOW DO I SCHEDULE SERVICE?

Select a plan and schedule initial visit
Once you've selected your plan and submitted your form, you'll be directed to our calendar to select a date and time for your initial visit
We'll arrive at your home and evaluate your yard. Our team will then proceed to scoop!

On the Day of Initial Visit

Quote Updates
If needed, we may adjust your quote based on yard size, number of dogs, or special requirements. If no changes are required, we’ll proceed with your initial cleaning.

Ongoing Service
Your yard will be serviced on a set day, with visit times varying. You’ll receive a text notification before we arrive, just like regular garbage service.

Completion Confirmation
After we finish, we'll ensure your yard gate or door is securely closed and send a picture as proof of completion
